Membership & Instruction

South Curl Curl Surf Life Saving Club welcomes membership enquiries from all comers regardless of age and skill levels. Training is available in all facets of surf life saving and all members are encouraged to obtain the various life saving awards. As a minimum requirement, all active senior members must acquire the bronze medallion award. This award requires a basic level of fitness and swimming competency and instruction in rescue and resuscitation techniques. The Club has a relatively small and friendly membership base and all interests are catered for whether competitive or social. Nippers are especially welcome and we endeavour to ensure the emphasis is on fun.

The Club is also active in Masters competition (over 30 years) and the Club is represented at many masters surf carnivals.

MEMBERSHIP SUBSCRIPTIONS

Seniors:

Active Seniors        $55

Active Cadets         $22

For those members wishing to use the gym, there will be a one-off cost of $25 for a key which is refundable with the exception of Associates who will pay an additional $125 per annum for gym membership."

Juniors (nippers):

1st member                       $55
2nd member                      $44
3rd member                       $33
subsequent members          $22
associate (Parent of Nipper) $22
-increasing to $55 if the parent progresses to bronze medallion level which corresponds to the senior fee.
