South Curl Curl Surf Life Saving Club

The South Curl Curl Surf Life Saving Club is a volunteer organisation whose basic objective is
to provide the highest possible level of water safety to visitors to South Curl Curl beach
throughout the surf season (currently October to April).

08' Nippers - Important info....

Peter & Craig have provided plenty of new Nippers info for the 2nd half of the season. In particular, all the details on the new FREE "Bendigo Bank Surfing Lessons" program and it's associated new boards. They have also provided carnival dates etc.
Jordi has provided info on the "2008 NSW Age Surf Lifesaving Championships" as well. There is a form to download with all the info on accommodation arrangements etc. Go to the Nippers page (see button on the left) for all the latest....

South Curl Curl Ocean Swim - 6th January, 2008

We are having a swim on the 6th January, and given the weather and surf conditions are good the swim will be from South Curl Curl to Freshwater beach, otherwise it will be out the front, off North or South Curly. Download an entry form here. For more details go to www.oceanswims.com.

Curly Sound Waves - It was a huge success.

What can I say! Curly Sound Waves was HUGE – huge crowds, great music, lots fun, food and beverage to feed an army, and best of all HUGE CLUB SPIRIT. Everyone who participated can feel justly proud of their efforts. Curly has always been a trendsetter, ever since it was founded in 1918 and Curly Sound Waves proves that some things never change. Sunday’s event was another trend setting occasion. It established new standards in so many ways. In this local area, there’s nothing to compare with it. Just ask members of the community. When a group of mothers recently went naked on and about South Curl Curl beach , they added an exquisite touch to the natural raw beauty of the setting as their photos in the '2008 Mums of South Curl Curl' calendar testify.

We are also trying a fresh new website format, which will be enhanced as we go.
